When she was contacted Jamhyla said:

"I am very passionate about areas I've been creating since I was very young and plan to take my passion further by being educated in fine arts well as in art history.  My goal going to school is to get my associates in fine arts and transfer to university soon after.  In terms of a career in art, I want to expand my artistic ability and share my art further, open my first solo exhibition and hopefully able to eventually provide a platform for other young artists like myself.  I'm truly honored to have this opportunity."

She will be attending State College of Florida in Lakewood Ranch.
